Description: St. Francis School 1st Annual Sports and P.T. Display programme was held at St. Francis School, Gomtinagar, Lucknow on 2nd December, 2016 in the afternoon. The students of the school showed a pleasant display of competition, skill and co-ordination among them.
The programme was graced by the presence of Manyawar Swami Prasad Mauryaji, Member of the Bhartiya Janta Party and former Leader of the opposition & U.P. Vidhan Sabha. The event was marked with the Lighting of the torch, followed by the releasing of the pigeons and colourful balloons symbolizing peace and love. A wide array of programmes like Zumba, Bhangra, Aerobics, Rhythmic drill, Panda drill, a drill by Mughals: the raiders of the North as well as a drill displayed by our tiny tots of class Nursery based on nature followed by various Athletic events enthralled the audience. Finally the programme concluded with the smart turnout of all the participants during the March past. This coverage was broadcasted on DD news channel.
